Automatic support generation is in progress and is not part of the current alpha build.
Until it ships
Attach supports in your modelling tool and import the supported mesh. The slicer will place and slice it without touching the support geometry.

Tip diameter and contact depth, support density, island detection, raft options, and manual editing of generated supports.
Following the work
Progress is tracked in the issue tracker on Codeberg. Test builds are announced there before they reach a release.
